Can I use this light hose outdoors?
The light hose itself has IP65 protection and is resistant to water jets, but the plug and end cap are not waterproof. For permanent outdoor installation, the connection points must be professionally sealed with a waterproof junction box or silicone.
Do I need a separate power supply (driver)?
No, the light hose works directly on 230V AC and is supplied with a power cable and plug. No additional transformer or driver is required.
What is the difference between 6000K daylight white and 4000K cool white?
6000K daylight white provides a crisp, bright white light that resembles daylight — ideal for workshops, garages, and warehouses. 4000K cool white is more neutral and slightly softer.
Is the light hose dimmable?
No, the light hose is not dimmable. It operates at full capacity as soon as it is connected to 230V.
By what length can I shorten the light hose?
The light hose can be cut in 500mm increments. Only cut at the indicated cut points and always seal the cut end with waterproof insulation or end caps.
What is the difference between a COB light hose and a regular LED strip?
COB (Chip-on-Board) places hundreds of small chips directly next to each other, resulting in a completely continuous line of light without visible light points or shadows. Ideal for cove and strip lighting.
What is the minimum bending radius of the light hose?
The minimum bending radius is 2cm. Do not kink or fold at the solder connections — this will permanently damage the light hose.
How many watts does a full 50-meter roll consume?
A 50-meter roll consumes 10W/m × 50m = 500W in total. Ensure the circuit can handle this and use a suitable circuit breaker or RCD.

Description

The COB LED light strip 230V in daylight white 6000K delivers an even, spot-free light thanks to COBⓘ technology. With 1000 lm/m at just 10W/m and IP65ⓘ protection, it is suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor applications. Direct 230V — no separate power supply required. Supplied as a roll of 50 metres, including power cable and mounting clips.

Even light without visible light points

The COB technology provides a continuous 180° light line without hotspots or shadows. Ideal for workshops, garages, warehouses and shop windows where fresh, bright daylight white light is desired. Width of only 9.2mm — fits in narrow aluminium profiles.
