LED Driver 24V DC - 72W - 3A - Adapter with EU plug - IP41 - for LED strips

This 72W 24V LED driver is an adapter power supply with a separate 1.5-metre cable and EU plug. The power supply provides a constant voltage^ⓘ of 24V DC with a maximum current of 3A and is designed for 24V LED strips; the adapter sits separately behind a cabinet or on the floor, leaving the socket free.

How much LED strip can it power?

Always choose a power supply with at least 20% more power than your strip consumes, so that it does not have to operate at its maximum capacity and lasts a long time. This 72W power supply is therefore suitable for 60W of 24V LED strip. Divide 60W by the number of watts per metre of your strip to find the maximum length.

Connection

The output has a standard DC plug. If your strip has bare wires, use a female DC connector with screw terminals: red wire to positive, black wire to negative. A dimmer with a DC connection can be easily inserted between them; make sure it is suitable for 24V. The adapter is IP41^ⓘ and therefore only suitable for dry indoor spaces.
