What is included in the package?

100 × 12W 12V DC LED power supply with EU plug and DC plug. Not included: LED strip, DC connector, and dimmer.

This 12W 12V LED driver is a plug-in power supply with an EU plug: you plug it directly into the socket, without a separate cable or junction box. The power supply provides a constant voltage^ⓘ of 12V DC with a maximum of 1A and is designed for 12V LED strips.

How much LED strip can it power?

Always choose a power supply with at least 20% more power than your strip consumes, so that it does not have to operate at its maximum and lasts a long time. This 12W power supply is therefore suitable for 10W worth of 12V LED strip. Divide 10W by the number of watts per meter of your strip to find the maximum length.

Connection

The power supply has a cord with a standard DC plug. If your strip has bare wires, use a female DC connector with screw terminals: red wire to the positive, black wire to the negative, click the connector onto the plug, and plug it into the socket. A dimmer with a DC connection can easily be clicked in between; make sure it is suitable for 12V. The power supply is IP41^ⓘ and therefore only suitable for dry indoor spaces.
