How many tubes are in this box?
The box contains 50 LED tubes T5 of 55 cm, all cool white 4000K.
How much light does one tube give?
One tube gives 1260 lumens at 9 watts, an efficiency of 140 lm/W. Together the 50 tubes deliver 63.000 lumens at 450 watts.
Does this tube fit my T5 fixture?
The tube has a G5 connection and the same size as the 14 watt T5 fluorescent tube. You remove the electronic ballast, then connect the tube directly to 230V~, live and neutral at one end. If in doubt, have an electrician do this.
Does the light flicker?
No, the tube has a flicker-free driver. That is pleasant for screen work and on camera.
What is cool white 4000K suitable for?
4000K is bright, neutral white light without a yellow or blue tint, ideal for offices, schools, warehouses and workshops.
Can I use this tube in a damp room?
No, the tube is IP20 and intended for dry indoor spaces. For damp rooms, use it in a waterproof fixture.
How long is the warranty?

Description

A complete box of 50 LED tubes T5 of 55 cm, the sweet spot between price and efficiency. Each tube delivers 1260 lumens at just 9 watts, that is 140 lm/Wⓘ. With 50 tubes you convert cabinet lighting, display cases, mirror lighting and small T5 fixtures in one go: 63,000 lumens at 450 watts in total.

Bright cool white light of 4000K

With 4000K cool white you get neutral, bright light without a yellow or blue tint: pleasant to work in and good for seeing details. The colour rendering is CRIⓘ >80 and the driver is flicker-free, so no restless light during screen work or on camera.

For T5 fixtures with G5 fitting

The tube is 548 mm long (562 mm including pins) with a G5ⓘ connection, the same size as the 14 watt T5 fluorescent tube. T5 fixtures work with an electronic ballast. Remove it and connect the tube directly to 230V~, live and neutral at one end. If in doubt, have the conversion done by an electrician. The tube works with a PFⓘ ≥0.9.

Sturdy: aluminium with a polycarbonate cover

The housing is made of aluminium, which dissipates the heat of the LEDs well, with a cover made of PCⓘ instead of glass. Nothing can shatter during installation or transport. Each tube contains 80 LEDs of the SMD2835ⓘ type, spread over the full length for an even line of light. The tubes are IP20ⓘ, intended for dry indoor spaces, and last around 50,000 burning hours. They work at temperatures from -20 to +50 °C, so also in a cold garage or shed.

Why a box of 50?

With 50 tubes you can fit, for example, 25 double or 50 single fixtures with new light, in one order and with one light colour. You also have spares right away. You get a 5 year warranty.
