The lamp can burn for up to 12 hours on a fully charged battery. This naturally depends on how often the motion sensor is activated and how long you have set the run-on time. With intensive use, the burn time may be shorter.
Can I replace the battery if it is worn out after years?
Yes, the LiFePO4 battery is replaceable. It is a standard 18650 battery cell with a 3000 mAh capacity and 3.2V voltage. After approximately 2000 charging cycles (several years of use), you can replace the battery to make the lamp function like new again.
Should the solar panel hang next to the lamp?
No, the solar panel is detachable and has a 2-meter cable. This means that you can mount the lamp in a shady spot (for example, under a canopy) while the solar panel is placed in a sunny spot for optimal yield.
Is this lamp suitable for direct rain?
The lamp has IP44 protection, which means it is resistant to splashing water and light rain. For optimal lifespan, we recommend placing it under a canopy or roof, but the lamp can also withstand limited rain without problems.
How far does the motion sensor detect?

How do I set the run-on time?
You can set the follow-up time between 10 and 60 seconds using a switch on the lamp. A short follow-up time of 10 seconds saves energy, while a longer follow-up time of 60 seconds offers more comfort because the lamp remains on longer after detection.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
With sufficient sunlight, it takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge the battery. The solar panel has a peak power of 4.5 Wp and charges the battery with 5V voltage and 900mA current. Place the panel in a sunny spot for best results.
Does this lamp also work in freezing temperatures in winter?
