Unlike traditional fluorescent lighting, you don't need a transformer or ballast. Connect the LED battens directly to a 230V mains supply at 50/60Hz with an input current of 180mA. The fixture is safety class II, so you don't need an earth connection. You can connect up to 31 units to a 16A Type B fuse or 48 units to a 16A Type C fuse. The non-isolated driver operates at a constant current and has a power factor of 0.9 for efficient energy consumption.
