How many tubes are in this box?
The box contains 50 LED tubes T8 of 120 cm, all daylight white 6000K.
How much light does one tube give?
One tube gives 3600 lumens at 18 watts, an efficiency of 200 lm/W. Together the 50 tubes deliver 180.000 lumens at 900 watts.
Does this tube fit my existing fluorescent fixture?
The tube is 1200 mm long with a G13 connection, the same size as a classic 36 watt T8 fluorescent tube. Power is supplied from one end. With a conventional ballast you replace the starter with an LED starter; an electronic ballast you remove. If in doubt, have an electrician do this.
What are rotatable end caps good for?
You can rotate the tube in the holder and aim the light beam, for example at an angle towards a shelf, workbench or wall.
Does the light flicker?
No, the tube has a flicker-free driver. That is pleasant for screen work and on camera.
What is daylight white 6000K suitable for?
6000K is fresh, slightly bluish white light with lots of contrast, ideal for warehouses, garages and workshops.
Can I use this tube in a damp room?
No, the tube is IP20 and intended for dry indoor spaces. For damp rooms, use it in a waterproof fixture.

Description

A complete box of 50 LED tubes T8 of 120 cm from the most efficient class: 200 lm/Wⓘ. Each tube makes 3600 lumens from just 18 watts. Where lights burn many hours a day, as in offices, classrooms, workshops and garages, you notice it straight away in consumption. Together the 50 tubes deliver 180,000 lumens at 900 watts.

Fresh daylight white light of 6000K

With 6000K daylight white you get bright, slightly bluish white light with plenty of contrast. Ideal for warehouses, garages, car parks and workshops where you want to stay alert and see everything sharply. The colour rendering is CRIⓘ >80 and the driver is flicker-free.

Rotatable end caps

The end caps of this tube can be rotated. This lets you aim the light beam exactly where you want it, for example at an angle towards a workbench, shelf or wall instead of straight down. Press the cap gently outwards and turn the tube to the desired position.

Fits the standard T8 fitting

The tube is 1200 mm long and has a G13ⓘ connection, the same size as the classic 36 watt fluorescent tube. Power enters at one end (single-ended connection). If your fixture has a conventional ballast, replace the starter with an LED starter. If your fixture has an electronic ballast, remove it and connect the tube directly to 230V~. If in doubt, have the conversion done by an electrician.

Sturdy: aluminium with a polycarbonate cover

The housing is made of aluminium, which dissipates the heat of the LEDs well, with a cover made of PCⓘ instead of glass. Nothing can shatter during installation or transport. The tubes are IP20ⓘ, intended for dry indoor spaces, and last around 50,000 burning hours. They work at temperatures from -20 to +50 °C, so also in a cold garage or shed.

Why a box of 50?

With 50 tubes you can fit, for example, 25 double or 50 single fixtures with new light, in one order and with one light colour. You also have spares right away. You get a 5 year warranty.
