Can I use this light strip outdoors?
The light strip itself has IP65 protection and is resistant to water jets, but the plug and end cap are not waterproof. For permanent outdoor installation, the connection points must be professionally sealed with a waterproof junction box or silicone.
Do I need a separate power supply (driver)?
No, the light strip operates directly on 230V AC and comes with a power cable and plug. No additional transformer or driver is required.
To what length can I cut the light strip?
The light strip can be cut every 500 mm. Only cut at the indicated cutting points and always seal the cut edge with water-resistant insulation or end seals.
Is the light strip dimmable?
No, the light strip is not dimmable. It operates at full capacity as soon as it is connected to 230V.
What is the difference between COB and regular LED strips?
COB (Chip-on-Board) places hundreds of tiny chips directly next to one another on the strip, creating a continuous line of light without visible light points or shadows. Ideal for cove and trim lighting.
What applications are warm white 3000K best suited for?
3000K warm white is ideal for ambient lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hospitality venues, and shops where you want a warm, inviting light color. It is also popular for cove and indirect lighting.
What is the minimum bending radius of the light strip?
The minimum bending radius is 2 cm. Do not kink or fold it at the solder connections—this will permanently damage the light strip.
How many watts does a full 50-meter roll consume?
A 50-meter roll consumes 10 W/m × 50 m = 500 W in total. Make sure the electrical circuit can handle this and use a suitable fuse or residual-current device.

The 230V COB LED rope light in warm white 3000K delivers even, spot-free light thanks to COBⓘ technology. With 1000 lm/m at just 10W/m and IP65ⓘ protection, it is suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor applications. Runs directly on 230V — no separate power supply needed. Supplied as a 5 metre length, complete with power cable with plug and end cap.

COB technology creates a continuous 180° line of light without hotspots or shadows. Ideal for mood lighting in living rooms, bedrooms, hospitality and shops where a warm light colour is wanted. Only 9.2mm wide — fits narrow aluminium profiles.
