Silver round recessed spotlights give your ceiling a subtle metallic look that blends beautifully with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and aluminium details. This set consists of 10 complete round recessed spotlights in silver, each with a tiltable recessed fitting, a 5W GU10 LED spot in warm white (2700K) and a GU10 lamp holder with connecting wire.

10 spots: how much space do you light?

Ten spots is a handy number for a single room: think of a kitchen, bathroom, hallway or landing, or a row of spots above a cooking island or worktop. As a rule of thumb, keep 1 to 1.2 metres between the spots and about 50 to 60 cm from the wall; with ten spots that gets you roughly to a room of 10 to 15 m². Together the 10 spots deliver 4,400 lumens at a total consumption of just 50W. With 35W halogen spots that would be 350W.

Light colour: warm white 2700K

The 2700K light is warm white, comparable to a classic incandescent bulb. It makes a room feel soft and inviting, which is why it is the most popular light colour for the living room, bedroom, dining area and hallway. In a bathroom, too, warm white creates a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. Each spot gives you 440 lumens with a beam angle of 38° and a colour rendering (CRI) of more than 80.

Look and finish

The round shape is classic and fits almost any interior. The silver finish has a neutral, metallic look that works with both light and dark ceilings. The recessed fitting measures Ø88 × 25 mm, is made of coated steel and is tiltable, so you can aim the light at, for example, a painting, a wall or a worktop.

Not dimmable

The spots in this set have a white plastic housing and are not dimmable: you connect them to an ordinary switch. If you have a dimmer or want to be able to control the light, choose the dimmable version of this set.

Installation

Saw or drill a hole of 70 to 75 mm for each spot. Switch off the power, connect the lamp holder to the 230V wiring, fit the lamp holder onto the GU10 spot and slide the spot into the recessed fitting. The spring clips then hold the fitting firmly in the ceiling. Suitable for plasterboard and suspended ceilings, among others; make sure there is enough room above the ceiling for the spot and the lamp holder. If you are unsure about the wiring, have it done by an electrician.
