White round recessed spotlights are the timeless choice: in a white ceiling they hardly stand out, so what you notice is the light, not the fitting. This set consists of 20 complete round recessed spotlights in white, each with a tiltable recessed fitting, a 5W GU10 LED spot in daylight white (6000K) and a GU10 lamp holder with connecting wire.

20 spots: how much space do you light?

Twenty spots give you enough to light a large space in one go, such as a living room with an open kitchen, or to fit two rooms with the same spots. As a rule of thumb, keep 1 to 1.2 metres between the spots and about 50 to 60 cm from the wall; with twenty spots that gets you roughly to 20 to 30 m². Together the 20 spots deliver 9,300 lumens at a total consumption of just 100W. With 35W halogen spots that would be 700W.

Light colour: daylight white 6000K

The 6000K light is daylight white: fresh and bright, with a cool look. This is the light colour for spaces where you want to see as much as possible, such as a workshop, garage, storage room, practice room or shop. Each spot gives you 465 lumens with a beam angle of 38° and a colour rendering (CRI) of more than 80.

Look and finish

The round shape is classic and fits almost any interior. The white finish lets the spot disappear into a white ceiling, which gives a calm and spacious effect. The recessed fitting measures Ø88 × 25 mm, is made of coated steel and is tiltable, so you can aim the light at, for example, a painting, a wall or a worktop.

Not dimmable

The spots in this set have a white plastic housing and are not dimmable: you connect them to an ordinary switch. If you have a dimmer or want to be able to control the light, choose the dimmable version of this set.

Installation

Make a hole of 70 to 75 mm in the ceiling. With the power switched off, connect the lamp holder to the 230V wiring, click the lamp holder onto the GU10 spot, place the spot in the recessed fitting and press the whole assembly into the ceiling with the spring clips. Suitable for plasterboard and suspended ceilings, among others; make sure there is enough room above the ceiling for the spot and the lamp holder. If you are unsure about the wiring, have it done by an electrician.
