Welke zaagmaat heb ik nodig?
Het gat in het plafond moet 70–75 mm zijn. Het armatuur zelf is Ø88 mm, zodat de rand het zaaggat netjes afdekt.
Zit alles erbij om de spots te plaatsen?
Ja. Per spot krijg je een armatuur, een GU10 LED spot en een GU10-fitting met 15 cm aansluitdraad. Je hebt alleen nog een lasklem of kroonsteen nodig om op je 230V-bekabeling aan te sluiten.
Zijn de spots dimbaar?
Nee, deze spots zijn niet dimbaar. Kies de dimbare variant van deze set als je wilt dimmen.
Kan ik de spots richten?
Ja, de armaturen zijn kantelbaar, zodat je het licht op een specifieke plek kunt richten.
Waar is warmwit 2700K geschikt voor?
Een warme, gezellige sfeer — ideaal voor woonkamer, slaapkamer en eethoek.
Kan ik later alleen de lamp vervangen?

Description

Silver round recessed spotlights give your ceiling a subtle metallic look that blends beautifully with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and aluminium details. This set consists of 20 complete round recessed spotlights in silver, each with a tiltable recessed fitting, a 5W GU10 LED spot in warm white (2700K) and a GU10 lamp holder with connecting wire.

20 spots: how much space do you light?

Twenty spots give you enough to light a large space in one go, such as a living room with an open kitchen, or to fit two rooms with the same spots. As a rule of thumb, keep 1 to 1.2 metres between the spots and about 50 to 60 cm from the wall; with twenty spots that gets you roughly to 20 to 30 m². Together the 20 spots deliver 8,800 lumens at a total consumption of just 100W. With 35W halogen spots that would be 700W.

Light colour: warm white 2700K

The 2700K light is warm white, comparable to a classic incandescent bulb. It makes a room feel soft and inviting, which is why it is the most popular light colour for the living room, bedroom, dining area and hallway. In a bathroom, too, warm white creates a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. Each spot gives you 440 lumens with a beam angle of 38° and a colour rendering (CRI) of more than 80.

Look and finish

The round shape is classic and fits almost any interior. The silver finish has a neutral, metallic look that works with both light and dark ceilings. The recessed fitting measures Ø88 × 25 mm, is made of coated steel and is tiltable, so you can aim the light at, for example, a painting, a wall or a worktop.

Not dimmable

The spots in this set have a white plastic housing and are not dimmable: you connect them to an ordinary switch. If you have a dimmer or want to be able to control the light, choose the dimmable version of this set.

Installation

Make a hole of 70 to 75 mm in the ceiling. With the power switched off, connect the lamp holder to the 230V wiring, click the lamp holder onto the GU10 spot, place the spot in the recessed fitting and press the whole assembly into the ceiling with the spring clips. Suitable for plasterboard and suspended ceilings, among others; make sure there is enough room above the ceiling for the spot and the lamp holder. If you are unsure about the wiring, have it done by an electrician.
