?   Vragen & antwoorden over deze tl fixture van 33 Watts

Is this fixture suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, with IP65 protection, this fixture is completely water and dust resistant. You can use it outdoors without any problems, even in the rain. The IP65 rating means the fixture is protected against water jets from all directions.
Can I replace the LED tube if it breaks?
Yes, this fixture has a replaceable LED tube. If the tube breaks after years, you don't have to replace the entire fixture, just the tube. This makes the fixture more durable and cost-effective in the long run.
How many luminaires can I connect to one group?
This fixture consumes 33W and has an input current of 150mA. Theoretically, you can connect multiple fixtures to a standard 16A circuit, but the exact number depends on other devices on the same circuit. Always consult an electrician for a safe installation.
Why is the light output so high?
This fixture boasts an exceptional light output of 185 lumens per watt, making it extremely efficient. This is thanks to modern LED technology and a bright diffuser that absorbs minimal light. This ensures you get maximum light from every watt consumed.
Is this fixture suitable for a garage?
Absolutely! With IP65 and IK08 protection, this fixture is perfect for garages. It's resistant to dust, moisture, and minor impacts. The high light output of 6120 lumens provides excellent illumination in large workspaces.
What exactly does IK08 mean?
IK08 indicates impact resistance. This means the luminaire can withstand an impact of 5 joules, equivalent to a 1.7 kg object dropped from a height of 30 cm. This makes the luminaire robust enough for industrial environments.
How long will this fixture last?
The fixture has a lifespan of 50,000 hours at L70B50, which translates to approximately 50 years with an average of 3 hours of use per day. This is a very long lifespan, ensuring years of maintenance-free use.
Does 4000K cool white provide enough contrast for work?
Yes, 4000K cool white is ideal for workplaces. This color temperature produces bright, neutral white light that offers good contrast and reduces eye strain. It's perfect for garages, workshops, and warehouses where clear vision is essential.
How many cable entries does this fixture have?
This fixture has two M20 cable glands. This allows for daisy-chaining, allowing you to connect multiple fixtures in a row without additional junction boxes. This saves time and materials during installation.
Why is the diffuser clear instead of matte?
The clear diffuser ensures maximum light transmission and therefore the highest light output. A matte diffuser would absorb some of the light. For work lighting where maximum brightness is important, a clear diffuser is the best choice.
