For which applications is 6000K daylight white most suitable?
6000K daylight white is ideal for spaces where maximum brightness and colour recognition are important, such as quality control, assembly work, cold rooms and intensively used warehouses. The cool light keeps employees alert and improves visibility during precision work.
What is the difference between 6000K and 4000K in this high-bay light?
The 6000K version provides crisp, blue-white light that resembles daylight—fresh and bright, but less suitable for spaces where people spend long periods. The 4000K version is neutral white and more comfortable for prolonged use. For production environments and cold rooms, 6000K is often the preferred choice.
How does the automatic dimming function work in practice?
The microwave motion sensor detects presence and keeps the light at full power as long as there is movement. After the adjustable hold time, the light automatically dims to the standby level. This saves up to 70% energy in spaces with intermittent use, such as loading docks and storage halls.
Can I set the daylight threshold so that the light does not switch on during the day?
Yes, you can set a daylight threshold using the HD03R remote control. Above the set light level, the light will not switch on, even when motion is detected. This is useful in warehouses or halls with plenty of daylight entering through windows or skylights.
Is this high-bay light also suitable for cold rooms or freezer rooms?
The high-bay light is IP65-certified and resistant to moisture and dust. For use in freezer rooms below -10°C, we recommend contacting us to confirm operation at low temperatures. In refrigerated rooms above 0°C, the light operates normally.
How do I install the light: suspended or ceiling-mounted?
The high-bay light is supplied with a suspension bracket for mounting from a hook or steel cable. Ceiling mounting is also possible using the bracket. The recommended mounting height is 5 to 12 metres for optimal light distribution and sensor performance.
What happens to the light during a power cut?
After the power supply is restored, the light restarts with the factory settings or the values configured using the HD03R. There is no battery backup.
Can I combine the 6000K high-bay light with the 4000K version in one room?
Yes, this is technically possible. However, keep in mind that the difference in colour temperature will be visible. For a uniform appearance, we recommend using one colour temperature per room.

This high bay replaces a traditional 250W metal halide lamp (HPI/HQI) and saves approx. 60% energy.

The 6000K daylight white light gives a fresh, bright look that resembles natural daylight. This makes the high bay ideal for quality control, assembly, cold rooms and other spaces where colour accuracy and maximum visibility are essential. With a CRI ≥80ⓘ, colours are rendered clearly and true to life.

Smart energy management via motion sensor

The integrated microwave motion sensor detects movement and keeps the lamp at full power as long as there is activity. When no one is present, the built-in 0-10V driver automatically dims down to the adjustable standby level. With the optional HD03R remote control (sold separately) you can easily set the detection range, hold time, standby dim level and daylight threshold — no app or computer needed.
