What is the difference between 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white in this high bay?
The 3000K version produces warm, yellowish light that is pleasant in social areas such as sports club cafeterias, changing rooms, or smaller workshops. The 4000K version produces neutral white light, which is better for focused work and larger industrial environments. Both versions have the same sensor and dimming capabilities.
How exactly does the motion sensor work?
The built-in microwave sensor detects movement up to a height of approximately 8 meters. When movement is detected, the light switches to full power; after the adjustable hold time, it automatically dims back to the standby level. The detection angle and hold time can be adjusted using the HD03R remote control.
Can I turn off the sensor if I want to keep the light on continuously?
Yes, using the HD03R remote control, you can enable Auto Mode, which keeps the sensor active, or use the ON/OFF button to set the light for constant illumination without sensor operation.
What is the minimum installation height for this high bay?
For optimal sensor performance and light distribution, we recommend an installation height of at least 4 meters, with an ideal height between 5 and 10 meters. At lower installation heights, the sensor may respond more quickly to movement outside the desired detection area.
Is this high bay also suitable for outdoor use?
With an IP65 rating, the light is resistant to dust and splashing water, but it is not intended for direct exposure to precipitation or fully outdoor use without cover. Use it in covered outdoor areas such as carports, loading bays, or canopies.
What type of driver is used in this high bay?
This high bay is equipped with a Sosen 0-10V driver. This reliable, professional driver ensures filtered power supply and is compatible with external 0-10V lighting controllers and dimmers.
What is the standby dimming level, and can I adjust it?
The standby dimming level is set by default to 10% of maximum power. Using the HD03R remote control, you can adjust it to 10%, 20%, 30%, or 50%, depending on the level of background lighting you want outside active hours.
Can multiple high bays be combined in one space using the same remote control?
Yes, the HD03R remote control can control multiple high bays simultaneously, provided they are within the remote’s transmission range. This is ideal for larger halls where you want to configure all fixtures uniformly.

The UFO LED Highbay Sensor 100W combines powerful LED lighting with a built-in motion sensor and 0-10V dimmingⓘ — ideal for warehouses, workshops, sports halls and industrial spaces where lighting should automatically follow activity. With 15,000 lumens of 3000K warm white light, this highbay replaces a traditional 250W metal halide lamp (HPI/HQI) and saves approx. 60% energy.

Automatic dimming thanks to the built-in motion sensor

The integrated microwave motion sensor detects movement up to 8 metres high and automatically dims the lamp to an adjustable standby level as soon as there is no more activity. With the optional HD03R remote control (sold separately), you can easily set the detection range, hold time, standby dimming level and daylight threshold — without having to log in to an app or computer. This makes this highbay ideal for spaces with varying use such as loading bays, storage halls and sports canteens.

Robust construction for harsh environments

With IP65 protection, the highbay is dust-tight and splash-proof — suitable for environments with dust, humid air or occasional exposure to water. The housing is made of die-cast aluminium with integrated cooling fins for passive heat dissipation. The SMD2835ⓘ chips guarantee stable light output throughout the entire lifespan. Recommended mounting height between 5 and 12 metres.
