COB LED Strip - 3 pieces - RGB - 24V - 14W/m - IP20 - 5m

With this set of 3 rolls of RGB COB LED strip of 5 metres each, you get a total of 15 metres of even, coloured light. Each roll has 576 LEDs per metre, runs on 24V and uses 14W per metre (70W per roll).

Because the LEDs in COB^ⓘ technology sit directly and closely together, you see no separate dots of light but one continuous line. It looks clean even without a cover profile.

Why choose this RGB strip?

• Any colour: red, green, blue and every mixed colour in between
• Even light without dots, thanks to 576 LEDs per metre
• Wide beam of 170°, ideal for indirect lighting
• Thin and flexible: 10 mm wide and 2.3 mm thick
• 5-year warranty when connected correctly

Where to use it?

Think of mood lighting behind the TV or bed, a line of light in a cove or ceiling edge, accent lighting in a bar, gaming room or shop, under kitchen cabinets or inside a cupboard. With an RGB controller you choose the colour that suits the moment, dim the light and set effects.

Connection and power supply

The strip runs on 24V DC and has four connections: 24V+, G (green), R (red) and B (blue). There is a lead of about 15 cm at both ends. You connect the strip to an RGB controller, which in turn connects to a 24V power supply.

• One 5-metre roll uses 70W. Load a power supply to no more than 80%: choose at least a 100W 24V power supply per roll.
• The maximum run length is 5 metres. Connect multiple rolls in parallel, not in series.
• Make sure the wires are in the right order (24V+, G, R and B).

What is not included?

The power supply and RGB controller are not included. Aluminium profiles, connectors and extension cable are not included either. That way you choose the power supply and control that suit your situation.

Installation tips

The tips below are meant to help you with installation:

• Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free and press the 3M tape on firmly.
• Only cut the strip on the cut lines, every 62.5 mm.
• Do not bend the strip tighter than a 1 cm diameter and do not kink it close to a cut line.
• Avoid contact with sharp objects and keep the strip dry: it is IP20, for dry indoor spaces only.
• An aluminium profile helps with heat dissipation and gives a neat finish.

These tips are intended as advice and do not replace professional installation. If you are unsure about connecting the power supply to the mains, call in a qualified electrician.
