COB LED Strip - 3 pieces - RGB+CCT - 24V - 20W/m - IP20 - 5m

With this set of 3 rolls of RGB+CCT COB LED strip of 5 metres each, you get a total of 15 metres of light that shines in any colour and in warm to cool white. Each roll has 840 LEDs per metre, runs on 24V and uses 20W per metre (100W per roll).

Because the LEDs in COB^ⓘ technology sit directly and closely together, you see no separate dots of light but one continuous line.

Where to use it?

Ideal where you want to combine functional light and mood light: a line of light in a cove or ceiling edge in the living room, lighting under kitchen cabinets, behind the TV or bed, or in a gaming room, bar or shop. During the day set it to bright cool white, in the evening to cosy warm white or a colour of your choice.

Connection and power supply

The strip runs on 24V DC and has six connections: 24V+, R, G, B, warm white and cool white. You connect it to a 5-channel RGB+CCT controller, which in turn connects to a 24V power supply.

• One 5-metre roll uses 100W. Load a power supply to no more than 80%: choose at least a 150W 24V power supply per roll.
• The maximum run length is 5 metres. Connect multiple rolls in parallel, not in series.
• Make sure all six wires are connected correctly.

What is not included?

The power supply and RGB+CCT controller are not included. Aluminium profiles, connectors and extension cable are not included either.

Installation tips

The tips below are meant to help you with installation:

• Make sure the surface is clean, dry and grease-free and press the 3M tape on firmly.
• Only cut the strip on the marked cut lines.
• Do not kink or bend the strip on or close to a cut line.
• Keep the strip dry: it is IP20, for dry indoor spaces only.
• An aluminium profile helps with heat dissipation and gives a neat finish.

These tips are intended as advice and do not replace professional installation. If you are unsure about connecting the power supply to the mains, call in a qualified electrician.
