H7 LED bulb set without fan – silent, maintenance-free and bright 5700K

With this H7 LED headlight bulb set, you replace yellowish halogen bulbs with bright daylight-white light of 5700K and a luminous flux of up to 5200 lumens. What makes it special is the passive cooling: instead of a fan, a heat pipe and aluminium cooling strips dissipate the heat. Nothing rotates, so the bulbs run silently and maintenance-free. H7 bulbs are usually used for low beam or high beam, and in some cars in the fog lights. The set works on 12V and 24V and consists of two bulbs, so left and right give exactly the same light.

Easy to install

The bulbs fit the standard H7 base (PX26d) and have a compact housing with a detachable collar. This lets you fix the collar in the headlight first and then click the bulb in, which is handy in tight engine bays. Our advice: position the bulb so that the LEDs point left and right, where the filament of a halogen bulb would be. This gives the cleanest beam cut-off and you won't dazzle oncoming traffic.

Check beforehand: base and space behind the headlight

Check your car's owner's manual or the old bulb to see which base you need; an H7 bulb has two pins on the underside. Because the cooling is at the back, an LED bulb is longer than a halogen bulb. So quickly measure whether the dust cover behind the headlight still closes properly.

Laws and regulations

In the Netherlands, only LED retrofit bulbs that are EU-approved for your vehicle are permitted in a halogen headlight. This set is CE and RoHS marked. So check in advance whether use in the headlight of your vehicle is permitted in the country where you drive.
