HB3 9005 LED bulb set – bright daylight white 6000K

This HB3 LED headlight bulb set, also known as 9005, replaces your halogen bulbs with bright daylight white light of 6000K. Each bulb has a power of 35W and delivers 2000 lumens, 4000 lumens per set in total. HB3 bulbs are used for the high beam in many cars. The bulbs are actively cooled and designed as a direct replacement for standard HB3 bulbs in cars, vans and motorcycles with a 12V electrical system.

Easy to install

The bulbs fit the standard HB3 socket (P20d) and are installed without cutting or soldering. Our tip: position the bulb so that the LEDs face left and right, where the filament of a halogen bulb would be, so the beam has a clean cut-off.

Check first: HB3 or HB4 and space behind the headlight

HB3 (9005) and HB4 (9006) look very similar, but the base is slightly different. So check your car's owner's manual or the old bulb to see which one you need. Because of the active cooling, an LED bulb is longer at the back than a halogen bulb; check whether there is enough space and whether the dust cover still closes properly. This set is suitable for 12V.

Laws and regulations

In the Netherlands, only LED retrofit bulbs that are EU-approved for your vehicle are permitted in a halogen headlight. This set is CE and RoHS marked. So check beforehand whether use in the headlight of your vehicle is permitted in the country where you drive.
