Set of 10 LED downlights of 24W, each giving 2,200 lumens of daylight white light at 6000K over a wide 120° beam. You fit them into a ceiling cut-out of Ø195 mm, and the white Ø225 mm rim neatly covers the hole. The downlights run directly on 230V: the LED driver is built in, so you don't need a separate transformer or bulb.

How the light looks and feels

Daylight white 6000K is fresh, very bright light with a slightly bluish tint, similar to daylight on a clear day. You see details and contrast sharply: ideal for workshops, garages, warehouses, practice rooms and other places where you need to see well. With a CRI^ⓘ of 80 or higher, skin, wood and food look natural.

Picture it: you flip the switch and the whole ceiling lights up evenly at once. Thanks to the matt cover and the 120° beam angle you don't see harsh dots of light, but a calm, wide field of light without hard shadows. During the day you only see a clean white Ø225 mm ring in the ceiling.

How many downlights do you need?

As a guideline, allow about 100 to 150 lumens per m² in living areas, and 250 to 300 lumens per m² or more in a kitchen, office or workspace. Together this set gives 22,000 lumens. That lights roughly 145 m² of living space or about 75 m² of workspace. A few examples of what you can do with 10 downlights:

• A living room with open kitchen lit evenly in one go
• A long hallway, landing and stairwell in the same light colour
• An office or practice room
• A renovation where you like to have a few spares

For an even light pattern at a standard ceiling height (about 2.6 m), keep roughly 1 to 1.5 metres between the downlights and about 50 cm from the wall.

Installation in 4 steps

1. Switch off the power at the right circuit in the fuse box and check that the wires are dead.
2. Cut a Ø195 mm hole for each downlight. First check that there is at least 85 mm of free space above the ceiling and no joists, pipes or cables in the way.
3. Connect the downlight to live (L) and neutral (N) with suitable connectors. This downlight is not dimmable, so do not connect it to a dimmer.
4. Fold the springs up and push the downlight into the hole. The springs clamp it against the ceiling. Switch the power back on and test.

Where can you use this downlight?

With IP20^ⓘ this downlight is meant for dry indoor rooms: living room, bedroom, hallway, landing, kitchen, office, shop and practice. It is not suitable for the shower or bath zone, outdoors or other damp places.
