Do these G4 capsules operate on 12V AC or DC?
These LED G4 capsules operate on both 12V AC and 12V DC. They perform perfectly in DC systems (campers, cars, boats). For AC use (with a transformer), please note that older halogen transformers often require a minimum load higher than the 1W power consumption.
What is the difference between these and traditional halogen G4 bulbs?
These LED capsules consume only 1W instead of 10W for comparable light, saving 90% energy. They barely get warm, last 15 years instead of 1-2, and are ideal for 12V systems where every watt counts.
Why is the beam angle 330 degrees?
The wide 330° beam angle means the light is almost completely diffused, comparable to traditional halogen capsules. This is ideal for general lighting in chandeliers, display cases, decorative lamps, and RV lighting.
Is 95 lumens sufficient for my application?
95 lumens is suitable for mood lighting, accent lighting, and decorative applications such as display cases, chandeliers, reading lamps, or ambient lighting in RVs. For work lighting or main lighting, you need more lumens.
Will these capsules fit my existing G4 fitting?
Yes, these capsules have a standard G4 fitting with a 4mm spacing between the pins. Please note the dimensions: 10mm diameter and 30mm length, so they fit in your fixture.
Can these capsules be placed in a closed fixture?
Yes, because LED capsules generate very little heat (only 1W of power consumption), they work perfectly in enclosed fixtures. They operate between -10°C and 40°C, so overheating isn't a problem.
Are these capsules suitable for my camper or caravan?
Yes, perfect! These 12V pods are ideal for campers, caravans, and boats. Their low 1W consumption saves your battery, they don't get hot, and they last up to 15 years with normal use.
Will my old halogen transformer work with these LED capsules?
Not always. Old halogen transformers often require a minimum load higher than the 1W consumption of these LED capsules. This can lead to flickering or non-functioning lamps. Preferably use an LED-compatible 12V transformer.
How many capsules do I need for a chandelier?
That depends on the desired light intensity. At 95 lumens per capsule, a chandelier with 5 capsules produces approximately 475 lumens total, comparable to a traditional 40W incandescent bulb. For brighter light, use more capsules.
Why silicone casing instead of glass?

These LED G4 capsules operate on 12V and are the perfect replacement for traditional halogen bulbs. Using only 1 watt, they deliver a light output of 95 lumens, comparable to traditional 10-watt halogen bulbs. The warm white color temperature of 2700K creates a cozy, homey atmosphere.
Thanks to the wide beam angle of 330°, these capsules spread the light evenly in all directions.
Their compact dimensions (10mm diameter, 30mm height) and light weight of only 2 grams make them ideal for small luminaires.

These LED capsules are equipped with EyeSoft™ technology . The result is a pleasant warm white light that beautifully accentuates details and is easy on the eyes. The color rendering index (CRI) of 80 ensures true-to-life colors, while the SDCM value of 6 guarantees consistent light color across all the capsules in the set.

These capsules operate on 12V and are versatile. They perform excellently in 12V DC systems such as cars, campers, caravans, and boats. For use with a 12V AC transformer (domestic applications), it's important to note that old halogen transformers often require a minimum load higher than the 1W consumption of these LED capsules. For optimal performance, we recommend an LED-compatible transformer.

Safe and reliable

These LED capsules meet photobiological safety class RG1, meaning they are safe for normal use without risk of eye damage. Note: with an IP rating of IP20, these capsules are only suitable for dry indoor areas. For damp areas such as bathrooms, you need at least IP44.

Important: These capsules operate on 12V and are not suitable for direct connection to the 230V mains. For domestic applications, you will need a suitable 12V transformer. For optimal performance, we recommend an LED-compatible transformer.
