?   Vragen & antwoorden over deze light source van 4.9 Watt

What is the difference between an A60 and other LED lamps?
The A60 has the classic pear shape with a 60mm diameter, which is the most common bulb shape in homes. This bulb fits in almost any standard fixture and provides 806 lumens, enough for general lighting.
How many of these bulbs do I need for my living room?
With 806 lumens per bulb, you'll need approximately 3-4 bulbs for comfortable general lighting in a 20m² living room. For a study or kitchen, we recommend 5-6 bulbs for sufficient light.
Why is this bulb not dimmable, while filament bulbs are?
This SMD LED bulb is optimized for maximum lifespan (50,000 hours) and energy efficiency. Dimmable electronics would shorten its lifespan. If you're looking for a dimmable pear-shaped bulb, please check out our LED Filament bulbs.
Is 806 lumens comparable to an old 60W incandescent bulb?
Yes, 806 lumens corresponds to a traditional 60W incandescent bulb. However, this bulb consumes only 4.9W, resulting in 92% energy savings for the same light output.
What does the opal finish mean for the light?
The opal finish provides soft and even light without harsh bright spots. This is more pleasant for your eyes than transparent bulbs and ideal for general lighting in living rooms and bedrooms.
How long will this bulb actually last with daily use?
With 3 hours of daily use, this bulb will last more than 45 years thanks to its 50,000-hour lifespan. This is extremely long compared to traditional incandescent bulbs (1,000 hours) and even filament LED bulbs (15,000 hours).
Can I use this bulb in a closed fixture?
Yes, this bulb works without problems in closed fixtures. The bulb stays cool and operates at temperatures from -20°C to 45°C, making it suitable for almost any application.
Why does this bulb have energy class C and not A?
Since the new EU labeling legislation in 2021, the requirements have become stricter. Energy class C is normal for modern LED bulbs. This bulb is still 92% more efficient than traditional 60W incandescent bulbs.

Description

This LED bulb combines the classic A60 bulb shape with modern SMD LED technology, replacing traditional 60W lighting. The opal finish provides soft and even light without harsh bright spots, perfect for general lighting in your home.

Warm white light for comfortable illumination

The 3000K warm white light has a slightly yellowish tint, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. This color temperature creates a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in your living room, bedroom, or dining room. The lamp delivers 806 lumens of light output, comparable to a traditional 60W incandescent bulb and sufficient for general lighting. The beam angle of 180° ensures wide light distribution. With a CRI of 80, colors are faithfully reproduced.

Classic bulb shape with opal finish

The A60 shape, with a diameter of 60mm and a height of 120mm, is the most commonly used bulb shape in homes and fits into almost any standard fixture. The polycarbonate opal finish ensures that the light is diffused softly and evenly without harsh bright spots or shadow formation. This is more comfortable for your eyes than transparent bulbs and ideal for ceiling lights, pendant lights, and table lamps where you look directly at the bulb. The E27 fitting makes the bulb suitable for large sockets, the standard fitting in most homes. The polycarbonate material is impact-resistant and weighs only 42 grams.

Extremely energy-efficient and long-lasting

With a consumption of just 4.9W, this lamp replaces traditional 60W incandescent bulbs, resulting in an impressive 92% saving on your energy consumption. The lamp has energy class C according to the new EU labeling legislation and operates on standard 230V mains voltage with a power factor of 0.5. Thanks to its extremely long lifespan of 50,000 burning hours, you can enjoy reliable lighting for up to 45 years without having to replace the lamp. This is more than three times longer than filament lamps and fifty times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs. The lamp operates flawlessly in enclosed fixtures and at temperatures from -20°C to 45°C.

Suitable for dry indoor areas

This lamp has an IP20 rating and is therefore only suitable for dry indoor areas such as your living room, bedroom, office, or kitchen. If you want to use this lamp in a damp area such as the bathroom or outdoors, place it in a fixture with at least IP44 (damp) or IP65 (outdoor) protection. The lamp is not dimmable, making it suitable for standard switches without a dimming function.
