How long does the battery last on a full charge?
With a fully charged 1500 mAh lithium-ion battery, you can expect approximately 8 hours of illumination time. This depends on how much sunlight the panel receives during the day and how often the sensor is activated. In summer with plenty of sunshine, the light will fully charge; in winter, the illumination time may be shorter.
Does this lamp also work in winter?
Yes, the light operates between 0°C and 40°C and has IP54 protection against all weather conditions. In winter, the light's on time is shorter because the monocrystalline solar panel receives less sunlight. Make sure the panel is placed in a location where it receives maximum sunlight, preferably facing south.
What is the difference between standby mode and full brightness?
In standby mode, the light shines at 5% brightness when there's no movement, so you always have some light. As soon as the PIR sensor detects motion, the light switches to 100% brightness (350 lumens). After 30 seconds of inactivity, the light returns to standby mode or turns off, depending on your setting.
At what height should I mount this lamp?
For optimal operation of the motion sensor, mount the light at a height of 2 to 3 meters. At this height, the sensor detects motion best and offers a detection range of 1 to 7 meters. The light is 9.4 cm high, 15 cm wide, and extends 21 cm from the wall.
Can I replace the battery when it is worn out?
Yes, the light uses a standard 18650 lithium-ion battery cell with a capacity of 1500 mAh (3.7V, 5.55 Wh). After approximately 300 charge cycles, the capacity decreases and you can replace the battery. Follow the instructions in the manual for safe replacement and use a battery with the same specifications.
