A set of 10 LED tubes T8 of 60 cm to convert a whole room in one go. Each tube gives 1,080 lumens of cool white light at just 9 watts, that is 120 lm/W^ⓘ. Together the 10 tubes give 10,800 lumens at 90 watts. Each tube comes with an LED starter, so you can convert most existing fluorescent fittings without hassle.

How the light looks

Cool white 4000K is bright, neutral white light without a yellow or blue tint. Colours look natural and it is pleasant to work under, which is why it is the most popular light colour for offices, schools, workshops and warehouses. The colour rendering is CRI^ⓘ 80 or higher and the tube is flicker-free, so no restless light during screen work or on camera. With a 120° beam angle, the light spreads widely over workplace and floor.

How much space does it light?

For a workspace, warehouse or office, allow about 300 lumens per m². With the 10,800 lumens of this set you light roughly 35 m². Examples of what you can do with 10 tubes:

Replacing your old fluorescent tube

The tube is 600 mm long with a G13^ⓘ connection: the same size as the classic 18 watt fluorescent tube. If your fitting has a conventional ballast, replace the old starter with the supplied LED starter and fit the LED tube. If your fitting has an electronic ballast, have an electrician connect the tube directly to 230V~. These tips are meant as advice; connection and installation remain your own responsibility.

Glass housing

The tube is made of glass with a protective PET film. Glass stays clear and does not yellow, and the film holds the pieces together if a tube ever breaks. The tubes are IP20^ⓘ and meant for dry indoor spaces. In damp rooms, use them in a waterproof fitting.
