LED R7s halogen lamps

R7s LED lamp: replace your halogen linear lamp

An R7s LED lamp is the energy-saving replacement for the halogen linear lamp. It fits the same R7s socket, runs directly on 230 volts and uses up to 90% less power, while getting much less hot. You know the R7s lamp from work lights, floor lamps with an uplighter, wall lights and floodlights.

First choose the length: 78 mm or 118 mm

R7s linear lamps come in two common lengths, and they don't fit each other's fixtures. Measure the length of your old lamp and then choose:

• R7s LED lamp 78 mm: for small wall lights, spots and compact fixtures.
• R7s LED lamp 118 mm: for floor lamps, work lights and floodlights.

Note: switch off the power before measuring between the contact points or replacing the lamp, and let a halogen lamp cool down first.

Dimmable, warm white or daylight

Many R7s LED lamps are available dimmable and in several light colours: warm white 2700K for the cosiest atmosphere, flame 2000K for candlelight and daylight white 6000K for bright work light. Dimming only works with a lamp marked as dimmable, on a dimmer suitable for LED.

From halogen to LED

• 45 to 50 watt halogen (78 mm): about 5 watt LED.
• 90 to 100 watt halogen (118 mm): about 10 watt LED.
• Choose by lumen, not watt.

R7s sockets too

Is your socket burnt or broken? In the collections you'll also find the ceramic R7s socket for 78 mm and 118 mm.
