LED tube and tube fixtures: how to replace your fluorescent lighting
An LED tube replaces the old fluorescent tube in your garage, workshop, shed, office or kitchen and uses much less power, while lasting very long. Here you will find LED tubes (T8, G13) in 60 and 120 cm, and complete LED tube fixtures, also waterproof and with sensor.
Which LED tube do you need?
-
Socket: most tubes are T8 with a G13 socket.
-
Length: measure your old tube, for example 60 cm or 120 cm.
-
Starter: is there a small starter in your fixture? That determines which type of LED tube you can use. Without a starter you sometimes need a different version. Read the step-by-step guide Replacing LED tubes.
-
Light colour: 3000K for living, 4000K cool white for office and kitchen, 6000K to 6500K daylight white for workshop.
Always switch off the power first before you replace a tube.
Or choose a complete LED fixture right away
Is your fixture old or damp? A complete LED fixture is often the best choice, such as the LED tube fixture 2420 lumens, 21W, IP65, 120 cm. A separate tube is available, for example, as LED tube G13, 18W, 1940 lumens, 120 cm or as LED tube 60 cm, 6W. For damp spaces there are also LED tri-proof fixtures.
