G4 spotlights

G4 LED lamp: small capsule lamps for 12 volts

A G4 LED lamp replaces the small halogen capsule lamp in your cabinet lighting, display cabinet, cooker hood, camper or small pendant light. G4 lamps have two pins and run on 12 volts. Here you will find G4 LED lamps of about 1 to 3.5 watts in warm white, daylight white and with a flame effect.

Which G4 LED lamp should you choose?

• 1.3W to 1.5W replaces roughly 13 to 15W halogen, for example the G4 capsule lamp 1.5W, warm white 2700K, dimmable.
• 3W replaces about 25W, see the G4 spot 3W, warm white 3000K.
• Flame effect: the LED fire lamp G4 imitates a flame for atmosphere.

Note: direct current or alternating current

Many G4 LED lamps here are specified as 12V DC (direct current). An old halogen transformer supplies alternating current (AC). So before you order, check that your lamp and power supply match, and if necessary choose a new LED driver. Take a look at the LED power supplies and connection materials. Always switch off the power first.

Dimming and light colour

You can only dim a lamp that is marked as dimmable, on a dimmer that is suitable for LED. Read more in Dimmable LED lamps and dimmers. Warm white (2700K to 3000K) suits most interiors, daylight white suits workspace and kitchen, see LED colour temperature.
