LED panels - downlights

LED panel and LED downlight: recessed, surface-mounted and 60x60

An LED panel or LED downlight gives calm, even light in the living room, kitchen, hallway, office and shop. Here you will find LED downlights (round and square) for recessed and surface mounting, and LED panels for suspended ceilings, in warm white, cool white and daylight white and also with WiFi.

What do you look for in an LED downlight?

• Cut-out size and installation depth: measure the hole in your ceiling and the space above it. Some downlights fit a hole of 65 to 210 mm.
• Shape and size: for example the LED downlight square 145 x 145 mm, 9W, warm white 3000K for small spaces, or a larger downlight of 20 to 22 cm for more light.
• Adjustable light colour (CCT): the downlight Ø 225 mm, 18W switches between 3000K, 4000K and 6000K.
• Smart control: the WiFi downlight Ø 22 cm you control with your phone. More in the LED WiFi lighting.

LED panel 60x60

LED panels are made for suspended ceilings, but you can also mount them on the surface. They give flat light without shadows and are therefore popular in offices and workspaces. Read more about them in LED panels for working from home.

Choose the right amount of light and colour

Choose by lumens, not by watts, see What is a lumen?. Warm white 3000K is cosy, 4000K neutral for kitchen and office and 6000K very bright, see LED colour temperature. Want to dim? Then read Dimmable LED lamps and dimmers.
